Welcome to the Tales of Rolamaton, dear visitor! All tales are ordered by event year, because each tale is a chronicle of Robocitans’ life.
First Decade: 1993-2000
Second Decade: 2001-2010
Third Decade: 2011-2020
“I like the concept of the soul being present in all things; humans AND robots. I’m even fonder of the fact that the human soul and robot soul are equals — humans aren’t superior, robots aren’t superior, it’s a mass collective of the soul, and the body it resides in doesn’t matter. It’s a wonderful lesson we could use in today’s world during this trying, scary times.” — MandiPoPoPope
Robocitans don’t always live a happy, easy, carefree existence, but they try to keep a positive and hopeful attitude toward life. Rolamaton narrates of robot (and human) stories that speak fo human life in all its facets. Error, broken promises, evil, discomfort are as present as good judgment, generosity and optimism. It’s life, like yours and mine.
The Tales of Rolamaton follow most of the canons of the following genres:
- Family Comedy
- Science Fiction
- Travel Journeys
More in detail:
- Stories of Military robots joining Rolamaton, battles to rescue robots who can’t escape their condition, tough situations Robocitans need to overcome
- Sentimental ties happening inside of the walls of Rolamaton, between robots, and robots with humans. Also, events that involve Rolamaton families
- Travels to and from Electronia or to other planets together with Electronians and the Berter family
The format is always that of regular short-story; it entertains but never tires. I use a lot of dialogue and I try to show more than I tell, because I like my Robocitans to feel real and relatable.
Rolamaton was founded on February 15, 1994, and so much has gone on since that day. I can only wish you a happy and relaxed reading and I hope my stories will leave a positive tril in your heart. Thanks!
